Stick-play doesn't have to be a solo sport. Some players toss the baton stix back and forth. Others bounce the baton off their knees and feet, catching it with the handsticks, and then tossing it to another player. They may use their whole body in the process of stick-play. Some players use only one handstick, spinning the baton—gyroscope-like—around the center of the handstick.

We encourage the process of learning new and innovative ways to play sticks. The sport is as varied as the athletes' imagination.
